NEW STOCK ARRIVALS!!!!

Good Morning on this quite Chilly Friday.

I had a wonderful Scrapbooking Class Yesterday at RS & E by Liane van Harn, (http://Lianevandesigns.blogspot.com/), and learnt some nice new techniques as we did a lovely Ice Cream double layout.  When I saw this layout I knew exactly which photos I was going to use on this layout that is lying in my Photo Storage cases, Holiday in George December 2010.

On my way back I popped in for Coffee at my dear friend and fellow scrapper Desire Fourie of Doing Life (www.desiref.blogspot.com).  I picked up some Card packets that she has made up for me and can not wait to start on them.  Me and my friend Elsa Barhuizen is also going to Desire on Tuesday for my first Card Making class at her and I can not wait.  I have been Scrapping with her for almost 4 years and love her layouts but never attended a Card making class in my Life, so this is a first for me......(You are never to old to learn something new)....lol

But for now, my day has been taken up by my two Loving boys again as Erasmus is playing Rugby for the 1st Team at Highschool and there opponents are in Highschool The Wilgers, so that is an hours drive and after that game I have to rush home to support IB that play for the local Rugbly Club to watch his games playing for the 1st and 2nd Team.  The live of a Mothers never stops.....but I love  these boys of mine and will do anything to keep them happy and healthy.  So I am packing Hot chocolate, my camera and my blanket for tonight again.

Everytime that I go to RS & E, I am amazed by all the New Stock arrivals....you can not get enough....I hope you will LOVE this as much as I do...

I am so into Stamping and Punching these days, as I do not have to buy so much Embellishments anymore as I make my own.....I just LOVE this and hubby as well.

ANOTHER GREAT WEEK - GOD IS AWESOME!!!

FAMILY BLESSINGS:

Another great week for us as Family as my youngest Son, Erasmus in Matric this year, (Mom's Baby) was chosen on Monday night for the 0/19 AVS Bokkies Rugby Team.  He plays 1st Team for Highschool Hartbeespoort for two years already and is also part of the Harlequins Rugby Team 0/19 in Pretoria.  So you can guess that my Friday afternoons are School rugby and Saturday will be AVS Bokkie Rugby untill the tour is over and then the Harlequins Season starts.  I have no other photo's on my computer anymore, only Rugby, Rugby and more Rugby.  

This is his School Sweetheart for the last 4 Years, thank you Dalischa for always being there for him, cold nights, rainy days, your are always at his Games supporting him.  We LOVE you LOTS.

We do not always know what the next day bring for us and I was touched again this week by Sadness and as one of our Harties Families was is a horrific car accident, were the Mother and daughter died on the scene, and 9 months old baby and 4 year old son was airlifted to hospital.  Unfortunately the baby also passed away and the 4 year old son is out of danger and still in Hospital.  This Father, son and Family is still in my prayers.  

We live our lives as tomorrow will never end, but God has a better plan for us and I know that we must live our lives everyday as it was the last.  Sometimes we get so cross with our children, husband, parents, sisters or brothers, friends and we must make this right, we must not live with hatred of sadness, but rejoice in everything that God Grace offer us everyday.  

This was a really sad and high week for me and I had so much emotions and questions without any answers that I just had to share this with you.  I know that God is in control of our lives and Pray that everyday my Family will be safe from harm and injury.  God Bless you all....

I  had a really tyring weekend as my Hubby and kiddies was sick with flu and Brongithis and that in the beginning of Winter.  I am sure that I have picked up the germs as I am feeling Horrible and trust me there is now one to spoil me and look after me......

I hope that every one had an Amazing National Scrapbooking Day, as we could not get enough of Scrapping and playing with all the new punches and folding techiques that I showed the Ladies.  It was really a fun day, we played and chatted so much that we forgot to take photos....Oh no!!!!

CHALKS & METALLIC RUB -0NS

I have a Scrapbooking and Cardmaking Tip that you can use on other Crafts as well.......

WHAT TO DO WITH CHALKS?

With a bit of Chalk, you can shade, age and tint.  With a little effort, you can generate textures, highlights and soft, faux finishes.  And with a variety of applicators including cotton balls, swabs, sponges, brushes on your fingertips you can create unlimited looks that range from innocent to industrial.

Variations:  Apply dry Chalk with a blender pen for a watercoloured look or brush over and image stamped in pigment ink for a velvety effect.

WHAT TO DO WITH METALLIC RUBS-ONS?

Wherther it's a simple gilded edge or a solid metal accent, the metallic shine adds an opulent touch that other looks can't.  And with metallic rub-ons, these looks are yours whether you're just aiming for a subtle highlight or hoping to give a plain accent a completely metallic transformation.

Variations:  Apply metallic rub-ons to a variety of surfaces - cardstock, patterned paper, fabric, clay, chipboard tiles, acrylics and more.  When applying rub-ons to non-porous surfaces, coat with a a clear- drying glaze to set.

It has been 2 hectic weeks, juggling again between begin Mommy, Wife and Business Woman, that I do not get time for myself (as usual), what is new if you are a MOM and working from home, they don't think you are doing anything, relaxing on the couch all day with a good book or watching video's and do not forget the glass of Wine and snack bar in front of you.....Yeah right!!!!

Winter has arrived and my Family is so sick, have been to the Doctors already twice with kids and  my Hubby went this morning, so you can guess how my weekend is going to turn out.....Lovely "lol", with demands and grumpyness the whole weekend.

I have been so busy working out new kits and packing them for my Scrapbooking days coming up and are so excited for all the new Clients that is supporting me, Thank You as this is a real blessing.

Focusing on National Scrapbooking day, Saturday the 4th of May, my classes filled up quite quickly and I have classes that rolled over to Sunday as well.  Very very excited.....and then we have Mother's day coming up on the 12th May, I am not having classes over that weekend but decided to have a big SALE for the whole month of May, YIPEE!!!!!
